Resurrection Lutheran Church sponsored the annual Easter Sunrise Service on the windy, sometimes rainy Coronado Beach on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 6:00am.
The Reverend Doctor Timothy Eichler, Retired U.S. Navy Chaplain, presided over the service.
Special music was performed by the Coronado Ukulele Club with Russ Peck. The service was held at the north end of Ocean Blvd. across from Sunset Park.
There was definitely threats of rain storms in the forecast and a small squall visited during the ceremony and because of it, a gorgeous rainbow was part of the final moments of the event.
